Friends & Family Support Group

The Friends and Family Support Group at Keystone ECU is a weekly space designed specifically for those supporting a loved one in care. This group offers guidance, connection and practical tools to help you navigate this experience with more clarity and confidence.

Support for You, While Your Loved One Is in Treatment

This group provides a supportive and confidential environment where you can:

  • Learn about the recovery process and what your loved one is working on in treatment
  • Gain a better understanding of substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions
  • Explore healthy communication strategies
  • Develop tools for setting boundaries
  • Connect with others who are going through similar experiences
  • Process your own thoughts and emotions in a structured setting

Each session includes a combination of education, resources, and open discussion.

Who Can Attend

This group is open to:

  • Friends and family members of individuals currently participating in treatment at Keystone ECU

No prior experience with support groups is required.

Participants must be 18 years of age or older.

Why This Group Matters
